Sorry that my first post was something I had to get off my chest right off the bat (haha - bat - get it?!). What am I trying to do with this blog? I am going in so many different directions in life right now. My husband has a great job, I have three busy children, 5 dogs and a house that is hard to keep up with some weeks. I thought this would be a great place to put my thoughts out there. I am not a journal keeper. Never have been. I can, however, blog about my life experiences and what I am learning from them. I am thinking of continuing the BOLD ITALICIZED take aways at the end of every post. Do you like that? Let me know....This is all more for me than anyone else.
More about me....I was an accountant for about 7 years before deciding to stay at home with my two little boys. About 2 years into this, we moved from Chicago to Memphis. Then I had baby #3 and stayed home until she was in Kindergarten. I went back to work full time as an accountant where I quickly got burned out. I then went to work part time at a professional hockey team as its office manager. I loved that job. Can I say that again - I loved that job!!! Unfortunately, they decided to clean house and I was let go along with over half of the front office. Now....I am home again....and trying to figure it all out.
What have I figured out? I have learned that even though I am in my 40s, I am extremely lucky to not have to figure out my next step immediately. My husband works hard for this privilege I have. I guess I should be nicer to him....
